Colored Contacts
Colored Contacts

Recently soft contact lenses have been developed that can add color to light colored eyes or change the color of dark colored eyes.  Women sometimes like to match the lenses to their clothes. Teenage boys especially like the special effects given by theatrical type contact lenses which are popular around halloween.

Colored contacts are also available in most prescriptions for those needing a visual correction or without a visual correction if you are fortunate to have good vision uncorrected.

There are colored contacts that can be reused and others that should be disposed of on a set schedule like every week or every day whether they are worn out or not.  Some can be slept in while others need to be taken out each night.

Some like the sunglass effect they get from the color in the lenses.  Others like the color because it is easier to see the contact lenses in the case or if they happen to drop them.
Some of the colors available are blue, green hazel, violet, gray, turquoise, amethyst, brown, sapphire and honey contact lenses. Take your pick and have fun!
