Contact Lense Colors

Contact lense colors have become popular as a fashion statement. Whether or not your eyes need a vision correction, you can change your eye color with contact lense colors. They are fun to wear and have become very fashionable. Although contact lense colors are most popular with women, many men also like the idea of changing their eye color.

Because of the wide assortment of contact lense colors you can make a dramatic change to your eyes or a subtle change depending on the contact lens type. There are opaque contact lense colors that can actually change the eye color. There are tinted contact lense colors that are designed to enhance the natural eye color, turning a pale shade into a deeper shade. There are contact lenses with a light handling tint to make it easier to find the contact lenses if you drop them or to find them in the case.

Before you purchase a pair of contact lense colors you need to get a prescription from an eye specialist, even if your have good uncorrected vision. You still need a fitting and instructions if you want the contact lenses to work properly. New Federal law requires the doctor to release the contact lens prescription to you voluntarily so that you may purchase the contact lenses where ever you choose. No longer can you be held captive by your eye doctor as in the past.

Contact lense colors come in blue, green hazel, violet, gray, turquoise, amethyst, brown, sapphire and honey. Soft contact lense colors can be disposable, extended wear, or daily wear to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism. The choice is yours. Have fun.
